About Shane

 

Shane Vega is a passionate lover of Jesus and the senior leader of Genuine Love Ministry. Genuine Love is a ministry that focuses on making heroes across the nations by: living among the people, going on city-wide outreaches, holding events, and providing evangelism training to all kinds of people groups. Originally from Shelton, Connecticut, Shane met Jesus in an encounter that forever changed his life in 2011 whilst he was dealing drugs. Since then, Shane has lived a lifestyle of discipleship and taking the good news of Jesus any and everywhere possible.

 

In 2015, Shane and his wife, Ashley, were called into leadership and remained in leadership ever since. Shane has attended Bethel Supernatural School of Ministry (BSSM), and in his first year he was the awarded the first-ever Kris and Kathy Vallotton Legacy Award. As an evangelist, Shane has overseen and lead the evangelism team at Reunion Hawaii Church, and has engaged with ministries across the world. He is Currently living in Redding, California with his family Ashley, Juliet (6) and Julian (4). 

 

‭‭Colossians‬ ‭1:28-29‬ “Christ is our message! We preach to awaken hearts and bring every person into the full understanding of truth. It has become my inspiration and passion in ministry to labor with a tireless intensity, with his power flowing through me, to present to every believer the revelation of being his perfect one in Jesus Christ.” This is the message that Shane lives and thrives off of. He has a strong conviction to see the captives set free, transformed by the word of God and proclaiming the name of Jesus boldly.
